Microsoft recently retired the Groove Music Pass service, but the company seems to be serious about the Groove Music app introduced with Windows 10.
Sometime back, Microsoft had revealed that it’s working on visualizations and equalizer for Groove Music. Visualizations are not yet available, but equalizer is now available in Groove Music app.
Starting with version 10.17112.1531.0, Groove Music app comes with an equalizer as well. You can access the equalizer by navigating to Groove Music settings.
The equalizer offers eight presets: Flat, Treble boost, Headphones, Laptop, Portable speakers, Home stereo, TV, and Car. If you prefer to have a custom one, you can do so by selecting Custom and then moving low, mid low, mid, mid-high and high sliders up and down. Currently, you cannot have more than one custom settings.

Here is how to access Groove Music equalizer in Windows 10
Step 1: Open the Groove Music app. On the navigation pane of the app, click the gear icon to open the settings page. If you cannot see the navigation pane, click the Maximize navigation pane icon.
Step 2: Here, in the Playback section, click the Equalizer link to open the same. If you cannot find the Equalizer link or Playback section, it’s likely because you are running a version of Groove Music app that doesn’t support equalizer.
Step 3: Either select one of the presets or select a custom one and fine tune settings to your desire.
