The first way to reset the camera is by using its built-in physical button. The steps vary depending on your camera model. Follow the steps below for the type of camera you have.

Security Camera 1

While the security camera is on, press and hold the reset button for at least 15 seconds until the LED light on the device blinks amber quickly. Once this happens, the device will reset and reboot.

Security Camera 2

If you have this type of camera, the process is a bit different. First, you’ll need to remove the magnetic housing on the back of the camera. Afterward, locate the reset button. Press and hold the reset button for at least 15 seconds until the LED light on the device blinks amber quickly. Once this happens, the device will reset and reboot.

Pan &Tilt Security Camera

For a pan and tilt camera, begin by tilting the camera lens up. After doing this, press and hold the reset button for at least 15 seconds until the LED light on the device blinks amber quickly. Once this happens, the device will reset and reboot.

Wired-Outdoor Security Camera-1

For this type of camera, loosen the screws at the back of the camera to access the reset button. Once you’ve found it, press and hold the reset button for at least 15 seconds until the LED light on the device blinks amber quickly. Once this happens, the device will reset and reboot.

Head on to the devices page and swipe your camera left. After doing this, tap “delete” and then tap “remove device” at the bottom of the page to remove the camera. The camera will be removed from your TP account, and the camera will be restored to its default settings.
